Issue Thirteen of The Lonely Crowd features the best new writing from the fields of short fiction, poetry and non-fiction. The 250 page volume is edited by acclaimed novelist and short story writer, Jane Fraser (fiction); the exciting new writer, Catherine Wilkinson (non-fiction); and The Lonely Crowd’s founding editor, Dr. John Lavin (poetry). The book was conceived in the 2021 lockdown and intentionally covers a wide range of themes and experiences, while, perhaps inevitably, reflecting some of the shellshock and damage of the 2020 – 21 period. Our first ever non-fiction section seeks solace and inspiration from ‘the Welsh expression milltir sqwâr’; a phrase that ‘denotes the fundamental relationship with your piece of ground and its link with your sense of self’.
SPECIAL OFFER: free postage to Europe this week only! The offer applies to all titles including our fantastic new issue.
