Winter Readings: ‘A Millennial’s Christmas in Wales’ by Dan Tyte

Millennial identical twins Gerard and Stephanie are back home for Christmas Day. Expect family politics with all the trimmings. The stand-alone story also acts as the first chapter of Tyte’s latest novel, The Offline Project (The Big Issue called it ‘an exceptionally funny, well-observed and street-smart book, as self-aware as it is sensitive. The dialogue is as authentic as any I’ve read this year, almost as if Tyte has secretly recorded conversations and simply transcribed them word for word.
